This structure is cited by the Montgomery County Landmark Committee as being one of the best examples of its kind (Victorian Italianate) in Dayton. It began with the identical floorplan as found at 49 Linden. During the War time, it became an apartment building, and an addition was added to the back. It has remained an apartment building to the present time.
