History:

The claim to fame for this house is its connection to the prominent William P. Huffman family. The daughter of the first owner, Charles McKee, married a Huffman son.

This home features a large foyer with ornate staircase and entry hall. The formal areas of the house have beautiful butternut woodwork and doors. Cherry wood, mirror and tile combine in the front parlor to provide a warm focal point for the room. Pocket doors separate the front parlor from the formal dining room, which also has an original fireplace.

Like so many homes in the historic inner east, this one also became a rooming house until it was completely restored in the early 1990s. The renovated home was purchased in 1993 and extensive landscaping of the property and added on to the rear deck. In this warm home and large rear and side yards,
